Jay Glasser

Jay Glasser While traveling down the roads that life has taken me, the Martial Arts Center for Health has been there every step of the way for the last 15 years. My in school training and one - on -one training with Thomas Curtin, has helped me stay balanced through many roadblocks. Helping me stay mentally sound and physically strong with both feet on the ground forging straight ahead. I am a busy 55-year-old Optometric Physician, a Dedicated Husband, Father of two teenage children, and an Instructor at the Center. I would not be in a very pleasant state right now, were it not for my training. For I have had several upsets through the years. To name a few, I had damaged my knees in my twenties from improper Martial Arts instruction. I was no longer able to participate in sports and intermittently had to walk with a cane. In 1996 I had a very serious injury, resulting in three Herniated Discs in my lower back. This left me, at that time, with a limited range of motion and pain and muscle spasms in my leg daily for almost one and a half years. Most recently within the last five years, a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis, presenting a host of new curves in my road.
